The Art to initiate Peace

What do we teach and how do we teach

What do we teach - an emerging new psychopolitical perspective - a holistic model that views the individual as being intricately interwoven with a national collective. The collective of a nation, in turn, is embedded in the consciousness of humanity as a whole. Both, an individual's psychological heritage and a nation's past collective trauma are expressed in the present. These determine the choices and actions of each: the individual and the nation. As a new approach, it is based on the dormant values and an inner attitude of a consciousness of joy, empowerment, choice and self-help, transforming old limiting national patterns. These values are applied actively through the prevention of violence, work with national trauma, and PsychoPolitical Action Projects to allow for a new quality of life, both, for the individual and for the collective as a whole.
We offer new approaches both theoretical and practical to be experienced directly in and with other cultures at home and abroad. We teach the requisite skills to operate with greater sensibility and care in various cultures. The training includes the capacity to be fully present in order to deal with a given situation, crisis, prevention of violence and the resulting personal process, with optimal awareness and sensibility. The knowledge of how to empower oneself and others, and how to apply this in working with ones own and other cultures. We offer a new perspective that allows individuals to become aware of the underlying interconnectedness of all cultures.

How do we teach - Role-play, movement and guided emotional processes are integrated organically with lectures and analysis. The seminar begins daily with relaxation, meditation techniques, and turning inward. Seminar hours allow ample time for reflection and sharing. We use seminars, designing projects, with on-site supervision of projects and offering internships.
We employ a transpersonal psychological approach and a wide spectrum of methods and techniques, based on many years of experience training psychological groups and doing project work. Exercises and experiential learning complement theory.
